This is Nik Turner, my famous pal, sax player and singer from Hawkwind. I have done lots of pictures of Nik over the years as we have known each other since we were beach bums in the 60’s.I spoke to Nik only yesterday when he called to tell me about a friend’s funeral, Jim Davis who died recently. RIP Jim. This portrait of Nik was taken in Ramsgate circa 1980.
