A funny thing happened going to the theatre

I was in the Montsouris Paris hospital awaiting to go to the operating theatre to have a new heart valve fitted . I was lying on my bed, relaxing when a middle aged nurse arrived and said “I have come to shave you” !
I got up and she laid out a sterile cover on the bed and I undressed. I was laying naked, when she took a small electric razor and held my left hand. She started to shave my fingers, hand and left arm, then she moved over to the right and proceeded to shave that side, then started on my chest, underarms, left then right. She then surprised me by asking how she was doing ? Are there any hairs left on your chest she said? I was very surprised.
No I replied it looks fine. At this moment and just before she started on my legs and private parts, she announced that she could not see very well close up ! Then she grabbed my privates and started shaving my meat and two veg, by which time I was really worried as to how much she COULD see ! I am pleased to announce that she left me intact, however it was a close shave !
