September Portrait.

Here you see my old friend Jay Jusard. Jay is a star top photographer who studied with Ansel Adams ! He lives in Arizona and became very famous photographing cowboys, I mean real ones, not movie stars. Jay did a wonderful book called “The North American Cowboy” “A Portrait” A great book, long out of print and worth a small fortune if you can get hold of a copy. It is all monochrome shot on whole plate camera. Absolutely perfect.
I am pleased to say I am still in touch with my far away friend and there is lots about him on the net if you are interested.
